Bad Faith Lack of honesty and trust. Bad faith can by asserted as a cause of action for breach of contract claims.
Bad Title Legal document that is insufficient to transfer ownership.
Bail Bond Obligation, signed by the accused, giving bail to be released from custody and insuring their appearance in court.

Blue-sky law State laws regulating sales of securities for purpose of protecting the public from fraud.
Board of directors Persons elected by corporate shareholders to manage company business and appoint officers.
Brief Written presentation to the court that outlines legal arguments of one party in a case.
Broker Agent who negotiates sales and other agreements between parties for a commission or fee.
Burden of Proof Responsibility of party in a lawsuit to persuade a judge or jury that the evidence proves its side of the case.
Bylaws Rules and regulations adopted by an organization or corporation specifying the duties of its members and how the business is run.
